A few years ago, I proposed (on Kickstarter) to illustrate sentences for a book written by a crowd. Participants would write the sentences, I would illustrate.
I had ideas already started, but I wanted to get other artists and writers involved in what I though would be a fun experiment for all. Certainly for me.
I planned to collect and combine sentences then turn them into one story or maybe a few shorter stories. I had 16 supporters and was given 7 sentences to build a story. The project turned out pretty well. The writing was the easiest part. The illustration took me far longer than I expected.
This year, I want to expand on the idea with a bi-weekly project.
I will collect random sentences from wherever I find them with the goal of having them contributed by you. As I build interest in this project, I hope to collect more and varied texts from around the world in order to make up fun stories to share.

Here are the seven sentences, in the order I received them.
Bless the farmer who grew the food, the vintner who made the wine, the cook who prepared the meal & and those who are gathered at this table.
I am in love most with my potential, because sometimes it is all I have.
Standing at the door, I ponder the rain and debate taking an umbrella from our extensive collection or just going without and jumping in puddles while I walk to work.
He wasn't sure if it was worth the effort.
When others talk about me, they say that I am a quiet, boring woman because I tend to ignore the world around me; but this is only because I’m busy listening to the clamour in my head, to the voices of people real and imagined that are always with me.
It is not about the road you walk on, it is about the path you choose.
She was a blonde British woman, I, Hispanic Texan and we are soulmates.
This is the place to add you ideas.
A few rules.
The sentences you submit should be written by you, not pulled from any source.
The sentences need to be clean, as in PG rated. I will not use anything I feel is explicit or inappropriate for a younger audience. There are other places for that.
The sentences can have any subject and be any length (but they should be sentences, NOT paragraphs).
Have fun with your ideas and submit anything.
I will collect and use most of the sentences I get in the 2-3 weeks I get them unless the volume is too high I which case I will save them for the next set.
